Alexander Burnett MPS
Alexander Burnett resides in Banchory with his wife and has three children. He has been the constituency Member of Scottish Parliament for Aberdeenshire West since June 2016 and sits on the Economy and Fair Work Committee, as well as being a Member of various Cross Party Groups – and in fact co-Founded the Cross Party Group on Autism which has become one of the most well-attended.
Alexander has been involved in many charities supporting the needs of children across Aberdeenshire and Scotland and prides himself on supporting those without a voice at the Scottish Parliament.
Outside of politics, Alexander is well known in Aberdeenshire for his involvement in a variety of local community projects, as well as his personal interest in rugby and renewable energy.
